Nickel Plated Steel Wire (NPS), made by low/high carbon steel, and electro plated with nickel. The nickel protects the wire surface against corrosion, as well as to having shining decoration. With steel core, the wire has good strength and flexibility. Nickel Plated Steel wire mainly used to electronic components and lighting source, especially for spring wire and guitar wire. It would instead of nickel wire and nickel alloy wire. Also NPS wire can be tined, used for lead wire.
